Sonia connected with royal family insider Rob Shuter to find out some exclusive details about Prince Harry and Meghan, following the news of their new baby and departure from their royal family roles.
Following the exciting new royal baby news, Rob told us some exclusive information:
"Insiders told me Harry and Meghan do not know the sex of their baby yet. However, if it is a little girl, expect the name to be Diana, after his wonderful late mother Princess Diana."
While the sex of the baby is unknown at the time, what a lovely tribute and honoring this would be to the Princess of Wales who left us far too soon.
We also spoke about the couple's upcoming interview with Oprah, which is their first big American TV interview. Seeing as no topic was off limits and given the couple's recent decision to not return to the royal family, Rob shared what this could mean for the family's relations:
"The upcoming interview with Oprah Winfrey has sent shockwaves through the royal family. Insiders tell me that once again Harry and William are in a very difficult place, they do not want the couple to do this interview. We don't know what they're going to say yet."
Not only does the public not know what was said yet, but the royal family doesn't either. The palace was not sent an advanced copy of the interview ahead of time to watch before it airs to the public.
The two-hour interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will air this Sunday, March 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
