Since their departure from the crown, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have decided to start a new life in the states with their baby Archie, and their soon-to-be second child. The ex-royal couple has recently made their move to California, where Prince Harry has just been offered a job.
The Duke of Sussex has joined the startup BetterUp in Silicon Valley as their chief impact officer, said the company on Tuesday to CNN.

The startup's website calls their new hire Prince Harry a "humanitarian, military veteran, mental wellness advocate, and environmentalist" who is "focused on driving systemic change across all communities through non-profit work as well as creative activations."
BetterUp is a coaching and mental health firm focused on "improving individual resilience, adaptability, and effectiveness," according to their site. "The results? People living more meaningful, vibrant lives with greater clarity, purpose, and passion." The company uses artificial intelligence, coaching, and behavioral science experts to foster these changes.

In a blog post on the company website, Harry shared that he found a common ground with the company's co-founder & CEO, Alexi Robichaux, which was to help people. "What caught my attention about BetterUp was that the company's mission to unlock the potential in people everywhere necessitates innovation, impact, and integrity. Their team has been delivering on that work for years," said Harry, before adding that he himself has benefitted from the services that BetterUp provides. "I've personally found working with a BetterUp coach to be invaluable. I was matched with a truly awesome coach who has given me sound advice and a fresh perspective."
"I intend to help create impact in people's lives," Prince Harry said in an email interview with the Wall Street Journal. "Proactive coaching provides endless possibilities for personal development, increased awareness, and an all-round better life."
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have also been keeping busy with their nonprofit, Archewell, founded with the purpose to "uplift and unite communities—local and global, online and offline—one act of compassion at a time."
