Pete Davidson Broke Up With Olivia O'Brien Over Text!?

Before "Saturday Night Live" alum Pete Davidson made headlines for his whirlwind romance with Kim Kardashian, the comedian reportedly dated several other famous women.

On Wednesday's episode of the "BFFs with Dave Portnoy, Josh Richards, and Brianna Chickenfry" podcast, host Dave Portnoy grilled singer/songwriter Olivia O'Brien over an anonymous submission claiming a relationship between her and Davidson.

When first confronted with the information, O'Brien responded,

"Where did you hear that? How did you hear that?"

The submission claimed that before Davidson dated "Bridgerton" actress Phoebe Dynevor, he was briefly involved with O'Brien.

O'Brien confirmed she and Davidson were involved for a short period of time in October of 2020, but didn't think "anyone knew about that."

According to O'Brien, Davidson ended their relationship over text. She continued,

"He texted me and was like, 'I'm seeing someone else. So, like, I can't.'"

The "Josslyn" singer reiterated that this all happened "a long time ago," and that she still thinks he is a "nice guy." As for what drew her to Davidson, she explained,

"He's hot and he's really funny. And he's really sweet. He's a really sweet guy."

O'Brien also shared that she feels it's "so annoying" how "guys don't get it" in regards to Davidson's appeal. While she argued that "friends are only attracted to guys for their personality," she claimed she was also physically attracted to Davidson.

Dynevor and Davidson also never officially confirmed their relationship. The pair was spotted together in April 2021, and later attended their first public event as a couple at Wimbledon. An anonymous source confirmed in August that the two had split, explaining,

"The long distance made it very difficult. They had fun, but it wasn't sustainable being so far apart. It was great while it lasted, but they both agreed it was best to move on."
