It's time to turn it out back in "P-Valley."
The hit STARZ series picks up in season two as the restrictions from the COVID-19 pandemic are lifted and the dancers can return to the popular nightclub, The Pynk.
“The acting has to elevate, stunts, dancing has to elevate. I do think that we succeeded. It was a lot harder because this body is two years older," Brandee Evans said.
"P-Valley" has also made strides for the LGBTQ+ community with representation on screen.
“There’s a level of representation that’s on this show across the board that extends beyond the LGBTQ community but it includes us. We haven’t always had the level of inclusion from an earnest standpoint," Nicco Annan said.
As the second season drops just as Pride Month kicks off, the show even earned a GLAAD Media Award nomination for Outstanding Drama Series.
"I’m just grateful to be a part of an opportunity and a project that really gets to amplify such spaces for everybody across the board," Annan added.
Catch "P-Valley" Sunday nights on STARZ.
