The Byrde family has one last shot to break free of their criminal empire.
The series "Ozark" will come to an explosive end on April 29, when the second half of season four hits Netflix with seven final episodes. As the teaser reads,
“Marty and Wendy are rid of Helen and climb to the top of Navarro’s empire. They find another opportunity to get out of the Ozarks but some past sins won’t stay buried and the most dangerous threats come from blood.”
Marty (Jason Bateman) fears for his family's lives as Ruth (Julia Garner) seeks revenge against them. As Marty tells his wife in the trailer,
“I’m just sick of having blood on my hands, Wendy. It doesn’t bother you?”
Wendy (Laura Linney) responds,
“You’re so desperate to be the good guy.”
“Ozark” follows Marty and Wendy Byrde after they move to Missouri to launder money, and become entangled with the criminals of the Ozarks. The first half of season four followed the Byrde family after the death of the attorney for the Navarro drug cartel, Helen Pierce (Janet McTeer). Marty and Wendy attempt to escape their past, but Omar Navarro (Felix Solis) only brings them further in.
The series also stars Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Jessica Frances Dukes, Felix Solis, John Bedford Lloyd, Joseph Sikora, CC Castillo, Bruce Davison, Ali Stroker and Veronica Falcón. Chris Mundy is returning to the final episodes as showrunner and writer.
Also debuting on April 29 is “A Farewell to Ozark,” a thirty minute special that documents the making of the final season. Be sure to catch the "Ozark" series finale when it drops exclusively on Netflix. Until then, the first three seasons are available along with the first half of season four to binge.
