There is only four more days until Halloween and tonight we are watching The Haunted Mansion starring Eddie Murphy. This Disney film is a Halloween classic that always seems to be forgotten about.
This is a great film for those, like me, who are not fans of scary films but still want to watch something spooky around Halloween. This film is filled with ghosts, a curse and of course a haunted mansion.
The Haunted Mansion
Eddie Murphy, Jim Evers, is a realtor who takes his wife and two kids along to meet with a potential seller at his mansion. Little does Jim know that the mansion is cursed and haunted by ghosts and other spooky objects. Jim has to race to figure out how to break the curse to save his family and escape the mansion with their lives.
This 2003 film is not just filled with spookiness but also lots of funny moments thanks to the hilarious Eddie Murphy.
Disney World even has a Haunted Mansion ride at its Magic Kingdom and hopefully by next Halloween it will be safer to visit the parks for spooky season.
