One of the top daytime talk shows just got even better!
While the talk show previously had a panel of doctors and physicians, Dr. Ian Smith will now be their one and only. But this role isn't scary or new for Smith. In fact, the doctor has had his fair share of experience on TV as a medical contributor for Rachael Ray's talk show and The View.
Dr. Smith is also a best-selling author and a graduate from Harvard University.
Dr. Smith is coming into the show during the coronavirus pandemic, which means there will be strict protocols on set to ensure safety for all cast and crew members.
But despite this, The Doctors host is excited and eager to bring comfort and ease to viewers during this crazy time.
Dr. Smith said:
"We are going to present to the country scientifically-based, apolitical, realistic information about what is happening, what some of the treatments are, the solutions, what the future looks like."
Be sure to watch Dr. Smith on the 13th season of The Doctors starting today, September 21st.
