Pop TV has unfortunately cancelled One Day At a Time due to programming shifts. The sitcom has been through a rough hit, as Netflix originally cancelled the show after only three seasons. The show's executive producers broke the news to Twitter on Tuesday, November 24th to fans.

Gloria Calderón Kellett wrote that while she's breaking the news, she still has hope for the show. Sony Pictures Television is currently trying to find another home for the hit sitcom.

Executive Producer Mike Royce also took to Twitter to say:
"So... yes. Much has changed at Viacom in the last year and unfortunately we won't be on Pop anymore. Thanks to everybody over there for the opportunity to do season 4. And guess what? We're still trying for season 5. What if #ODAAT was the first show ever on 3 networks?"
Other celebrities and comedians are expressing their grief for the sad news, including Natasha Rockwell who tweeted:
"Hollywood needs to put their money where their mouth is and pick up #ODAAT and give it a new home! The TV landscape is BEGGING for exactly this!"
Now everyone must wait to see what will come of the show and what company will give it a new home.
