Rodrigo, a known Taylor Swift fan credits the pop star and her longtime producer Jack Antonoff on track 4, which perked the ears of Swifties everywhere.
However, the producing power duo didn't help write the song, instead, the melody from Swift's song, "New Year's Day", from her album "1989" is sampled in Rodrigo's "1 step forward, 3 steps back".
"My first album SOUR is out everywhere now. every song is so personal and close to my heart. getting to share them with people is the most special thing I've ever done in my life. thank u to everyone who made this album happen," Olivia gushed on Instagram.
Congratulations to Olivia on her debut album! It's safe to say that there will be more where that came from.
