The Devil All The Timedirector Antonio Campos describes the film as "a multi-strand narrative set between the end of World War II and the beginning of America's involvement in Vietnam in which a motley group of characters' lives all intersect." Starring Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson, the new trailer most definitely does not disappoint!
A Devil All The Time is based on Donald Ray Pollock's 2011 novel, which explores the two generations between World War II and the Vietnam War. Fans can see a star-studded cast featured throughout the trailer which includes Sebastian Stan, Riley Keough, and Jason Clarke. Holland plays Arvin Russell, who is an extremely troubled young man. He evolves from being another bullied kid to actually fighting evil. Antonio Campos told Entertainment Weekly he knows how strong of an actor Holland is after this film. He shared:
"Tom is a very sweet person and a very generous actor but he's willing to go wherever he needs to go emotionally for the character. He wanted to go where he had to go. Tom's electric. He's sort of sitting there doing nothing and is immensely watchable."
Towards the end of the trailer, viewers can see a variety of action shots showcasing just how much chaos will be going on throughout the film. Fans can hear Holland end the trailer by saying:
"What I am about to do, I do because I have to, not because I want to."
