New to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and HBO in May

What's new to stream this month? Netflix is bursting with new movies and shows, but Hulu, Amazon, and HBO have plenty of their own can't-miss content. Let the binge begin!

This month proves that all you need is a Netflix account to have more than enough new movies and television shows to fill your every spare moment. With so many excellent options, it's hard to choose which to highlight, but here is our attempt to bring the best to the surface!

In case that's not enough (how is that even possible?!) there are also some long awaited offerings from Hulu, Amazon, and HBO.

New on Netflix in May

Dead to Me: Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini play widows who form a fast friendship after meeting in grief support group. This dark comedy explores how people deal with traumatic loss while layering in elements of mystery.

New on HBO in May

Deadwood: Never say never. 13 years after its painful cancellation, HBO is finally reviving Deadwood with a movie written by original series creator David Milch. Most of the original cast has returned, excluding some notables who have passed since then, and, fittingly, the story will focus on the passage of time, what it has done to these characters and to their town.
