Former NFL player and announcer Nate Burleson has signed a multiplatform deal with CBS.

In addition to co-hosting the morning show with Gayle King and Tony Dukoupil, Burleson will remain an analyst on CBS Sports'The NFL Today and appear on and contribute to various Nickeloden and NFL Network programs.

Those programs include NFL Wild Card Game, NFL GameDay, and NFL Total Access. He will also participate in "on-location coverage of events such as Super Bowl week, NFL Honors and training camp, as well as maintain a larger presence on NFL Media's social media and podcast offerings."

In a statement released yesterday, various CBS executives made comments about Burleson's deal.
