The singer shared that she is okay, though shaken up.

Miley Cyrus was en route to Paraguay when her plane had to make an emergency landing.

On her way to the Asunciónico music festival, her flight was struck by lightning from ongoing storms. The weather has been so bad, in fact, that the first day of the festival was cancelled. The Foo Fighters, Machine Gun Kelly and Doja Cat were unable to perform because of it.

Cyrus posted a video to her Instagram that showed lightning flashing through one of the plane's windows. She shared,

"To my fans and everyone worried after hearing about my flight to Asunción. Our plane was caught in a major unexpected storm and struck by lighting. My crew, band, friends and family who were all traveling with me are safe after an emergency landing. We were unfortunately unable to fly into Paraguay. I LOVE YOU."

The post also included a picture of the plane, and the damage done from the strike.

Fortunately, as Cyrus shared, neither she nor any members of her crew were harmed. Unfortunately, she was unable to make it to Paraguay for the festival.
