The R&B singer is putting her acting skills on display in the new Lifetime drama... Wrath: A Seven Deadly Sins Story.
In the film, Williams plays a single lawyer who quickly falls for the smart and handsome Xavier, played by Antonio Cupo.
However, when Xavier starts to become obsessed with Michelle, she finds herself in a dangerous and life-threatening situation.
"I'm actually going to look at the comments and look at the feedback the night that this movie premieres," Williams said. "I want to know how many people are like, 'girl that was me.'"
As the movie unfolds, Williams' character turns to her mother, played by Tina Knowles-Lawson, for guidance. The actress opened up on working with her "second mom," as Knowles-Lawson has known the star since her early days working with Beyoncé in Destiny's Child.
"She's been a nurturer and a protector and very motherly for 22 years of my life... so it was just natural."
Williams' fellow girl group members, Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland, also offered the star plenty of support while filming the movie.
"I must say the support of Beyoncé and Kelly with this movie has been amazing. We were FaceTiming each other while Ms. Tina was on set. They've been so supportive!"
The star added that with the proper guidance and work ethic anyone can achieve their goals.
"It sounds cliche, but I promise you, it's that moment that you feel like giving up that you should push on through."
Wrath premieres Saturday April 16th on Lifetime.
