Megyn Kelly, who was previously a host for Fox News and NBC, has locked in a deal with Sirius XM where she will have her own talk show.
Kelly was with Fox News from 2004-2017 before moving to NBC News for about a year. She was forced to leave NBC after making comments on her show about how doing blackface for a Halloween costume was okay when she was a child. Kelly's show was then cancelled days after she apologized on screen.
The Megyn Kelly Show will be on the Triumph channel at noon on weekdays. The Triumph channel is known for other shows hosted by Dr. Laura, Nancy Grace, and Glenn Beck. The new show will be available to listen to as a podcast on a number of different platforms after the initial airing. Kelly will be interviewing various individuals and will take calls from listeners along with discussing her opinions on a variety topics. In a statement, Kelly said,
"I can't think of a better partner to help us expand that reach even further than a blue-chip brand like SiriusXM, which has always been a leader in predicting market trends and is perfectly positioned for the evolving manner in which Americans consume their news."
On Tuesday, the host posted a tweet to break the news,
Happy to announce our show (already one of the top podcasts in the USA after 9 mos) is expanding its reach - partnering w/SiriusXM (a great team!) in a live, 2-hour show, going 5 days/wk & adding video too.
