Marilu Henner is known best for her iconic roles in sitcoms like Taxi and Evening Shade, but now, she's taking on a role that's a bit darker.
With Marilu Henner jumping from projects between Hallmark and Lifetime, the star is now joining the V.C. Andrews series in Pearl In The Mist.
"She's so horrible. She is the worst character and the meanest character I've ever played, but it's kind of fun to play a villain," Henner said.
Pearl in the Mist is a follow-up to Ruby, the first of V.C. Andrews' Landry novels. However, Marilu says the second film will be quite different from the first.
"It's much more psychological… It's scary, but it's not horrific," Henner said.
With the recent passing of her former co-star Hal Holbrook, Marilu reflected back on her time working with both Hal and the late Burt Reynolds.
"I miss them both very, very much...Burt was the most generous, wonderful, funniest, quickest person… greatest on-screen kiss I've ever had."
You can catch Pearl In The Mist March 21st on Lifetime.
