Los Angeles To Require COVID Vaccine For Indoor Venues

Los Angeles

Los Angeles is moving forward with plans to require proof of COVID-19 vaccination before entering most indoor venues.

The City of Angels is following in footsteps of The City That Never Sleeps.

Los Angeles is moving forward with plans to require proof of vaccination for indoor venues. This news comes shortly after New York announced its enforcement of a similar mandate. On Wednesday, Los Angeles City Council voted unanimously in favor of a law that would require individuals to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 before entering most indoor spaces.

With California experiencing a rapid increase in COVID cases, the city of LA is doubling down on its push for people to get vaccinated. For example, the clip above features comedy duo Desus and Mero encouraging residents to go out and get their shot. In the video, Desus Nice sums it up best:

"They are effective in preventing death, serious illnesses, and hospitalization from COVID-19. And the best part, it's free-ninety-nine and it's super easy."
