Apple TV+ has released the new trailer for Palmer starring superstar Justin Timberlake.


Timberlake stars as Eddie Palmer who returns home to get his life back together after serving 12 years in prison. The former high school football star forms a unique bond with an outcast young boy named Sam who is having troubles at home. However, Eddie's past begins to haunt him and threatens his reestablished life and family. Check out the new dramatic trailer.

Palmer looks like it has potential to earn Timberlake an Oscar as he stars alongside with an incredible leading cast featuring Juno Temple, Alisha Wainwright, Oscar nominee June Squibb, and introduces newcomer Ryder Allen. The last time audiences saw Timberlake in live-action feature was in 2017 in Woody Allen's Wonder Wheel and has lent his voice talent starring in the Trolls films.

The new drama is directed by Fisher Stevens and written by Cheryl Guerriero. Stevens has previously directed many documentaries, Bon Jovi's music videos, and has directed the 2002 film Just a Kiss starring Kyra Sedgwick, Peter Dinklage, Marisa Tomei, and Taye Diggs as well as the 2012 film Stand Up Guys starring Al Pacino, Christopher Walken, Alan Arkin, and Julianna Margulies.

The new film will be available exclusively to Apple TV+ on January 29, 2021.
