Bieber took to twitter yesterday to announce the new dates of his Changes world tour that was set to start this summer, but was cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic. The rescheduled tour will kick off on June 2, 2021 in San Diego, California with 19 new dates.
The redesigned tour will be a little different than originally planned; Bieber will not be stopping at any stadiums like he was supposed to, as he changed the venues to arenas only. In addition to the change of venues, artists Kehlani and Jaden Smith were set to be openers on the tour but unfortunately will not be accompanying Bieber anymore. New opening acts will be announced at a later date.
Bieber expressed his excitement about going on tour again:
"I can't wait to get out there and connect with my fans on this tour. We've been through so much this year. More than ever, we've come to understand how much we need each other, and how meaningful these moments can really be."
Tickets for the added dates will go on sale Thursday, August 6th at 10 AM local time. A limited number of exclusive VIP packages will also be available to purchase includes reserved seating, tour memorabilia, exclusive merch and more. If you need another reason to purchase a ticket to the tour, every dollar from each ticket sold will be donated to the Bieber Foundation, which supports mental health awareness.
