Since the unfortunate passing of the legendary host of Jeopardy, the show has struggled to find their next staple host to fill Alex Trebek's shoes. With episodes from Season 38 still airing until July 2022, Jeopardy has just confirmed its hosts--plural--for the remainder of the season.
We are delighted to let you know our excellent and experienced team in front of and behind the camera will continue into 2022: @missmayim and @kenjennings will share hosting duties through the end of #Jeopardy! Season 38, and Michael Davies will remain as executive producer. pic.twitter.com/KSdWCRqHzl

Jeopardy took to its social media accounts to share the exciting news with fans. Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings are set to become the show's hosts permanently until episodes for its 38th Season are finished airing. The two both took turns filling the role following Michael Davies' firing from the position back in August.
Davies was ousted from hosting after a series of sexist comments he made on a podcast were publicly exposed. Since then, Bialik and Jennings have both done phenomenal work behind the podium.
Bialik, is known best for her role in The Big Bang Theory as a genius neurobiologist, Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler, which parallels her real-life doctorate in neuroscience almost too perfectly. She first took over Davies' position in August and continued to host until the beginning of November.
Jennings took the reins from Bialik and will continue to host for the rest of the 2021 season. Jennings has acquired quite the reputation for himself as well, earning himself the title of the highest-winning American game show contestant of all time. He spent enough time behind the contestants' podium on Jeopardy to win over four million dollars in winnings, which certainly qualifies him to host the trivia show.
One year after Alex Trebek’s passing, Ken Jennings reflects on what Alex meant to him and the special gift he received from Alex’s wife, Jean.

Since Trebek's passing over a year ago, the show has struggled to find a permanent host that would take on the same iconic role the Jeopardy stage was already renowned for. Before Michael Davies, who is the show's executive producer, took over, LeVar Burton, Katie Couric, Aaron Rodgers, George Stephanopoulos, Anderson Cooper, Savannah Guthrie, Dr. Mehmet Oz, and Dr. Sanjay Gupta all briefly starred as hosts.
In an interview with USA Today last month, Jennings admitted he was "just terrified" to take over the job Trebek had perfected. Regardless, fans can universally say that both he and Bialik have excelled so far at their new position, and will continue to carry on Trebek's legacy as Jeopardy host for the rest of Season 38.
