Janet Jackson is getting candid like never before.
This event has been in the making for five years and fans finally get to witness the iconic Janet Jackson control her own narrative.
The star isn't by herself, though, as she has gathered close friends, family members, and even exes from past relationships. Celebrities that will be seen in the documentary are Whoopi Goldberg, Mariah Carey, Samuel L. Jackson, Tyler Perry, Teyana Taylor, Regina King, Ciara, and Janelle Monae.
Jackson will touch upon the death of her brother Michael, becoming a mom at 50, and the obvious wardrobe malfunction with Justin Timberlake. Even in the trailer, she admits that incident with Timberlake has taken a toll on her career-wise.
Two of our own members, Jaymes Vaughan and Rob Shuter, were able to chat about what made Jackson decide to finally come out to the world.
"Janet Jackson is finally sick of other people talking for her. Janet has found her voice, has found her courage to finally tell her side of the story," Shuter said.
Shuter went on to say this is a one-time documentary and Janet will never be doing this again.
