Ireland Baldwin is speaking out about her dad, Alec Baldwin, on social media.

The twenty-six year old took to Instagram to address what she claims has been a bombardment of attacks against her family and herself. She posted,

"I get countless messages from people who are kind of alarmingly obsessed with my father and his family. I think a lot of people assume my take on this, well here it is for free—it's none of my business."

The screenwriter said she reached a "boiling point" after receiving "hundreds of hateful" DMs" that attacked all areas of her personal life, which she she claimed included digs at her appearance and her relationship with her father.

In the Instagram post, she addressed her parents, Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, and the support they've given her throughout the years. She said,

"My parents have been very helpful in my life. My mom has never gone a day without telling me how much she believes in me. I have tried to be so many versions of what people expected me to be."

Ireland released her statement two weeks after her father announced that he and his wife Hilaria are expecting their seventh child together. The actor has been occupying headlines since October, when a prop gun misfired and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set his movie "Rust." As the person who fired the gun, however accidental, Baldwin was recently named as a defendant in the lawsuit filed by Hutchins' husband.

As for Ireland, she's content to live her best life in Oregon with her boyfriend, musician André Allen Anjos who's also known as RAC, and their six dogs. She finished the announcement,

"All that matters is I approve of me, and it feels damn good. I am so grateful and lucky to be where I am. Thank you to those who always send me support and kind words."
