Looking for that perfect holiday movie to cozy up to this December? We compiled a list of our favorite holiday movies in Netflix to get your festivities going!


Holidate 

Holidate is the perfect feel-good film following the plot line of the traditional romcom scenario.The film features Emma Roberts and Luke Bracey starring as two individuals fed up with being single during the holiday season. The two agree to become each other's platonic plus-one's, only to realize that their love really isn't that platonic.

The Christmas Chronicles 

If you're looking for the an entertaining family movie to watch, The Christmas Chronicles is the perfect place to start. This comedy follows two siblings on a mission to capture Santa Clause after spotting him in their home on Christmas Eve. After hijacking into Santa's sleigh, a malfunction causes everyone on board to crash, losing all of this year's presents. It becomes up to the two kids, and Santa of course, to save Christmas.

Love Hard

Another romcom to binge during this holiday season is one of Netflix's newer releases, Love Hard, starring Nina Dobrev.This hilarious film follows an L.A. native named Natalie who is desperate for love as she flies across the country to spend Christmas with her "lover" who she found on a dating app. Once the pair meet face-to-face, it becomes obvious that Natalie just got catfished.

The Princess Switch

The Princess Switch quickly became a holiday classic after its premiere gained popularity among Netflix audiences in 2018. Starring Vanessa Hudgens times two, the film features a baker and princess who switch lives thinking the grass is greener on the other side. The best part about The Princess Switch, other than that we get to see Hudgens carbon copied, is that there is a second and third installment. Happy binging!

A Boy Called Christmas 

A Boy Called Christmas is another perfect family-watch-together with a heartwarming plot. The film tells the origin tale of Father Christmas, who at the time is only a young boy accompanied by a pet reindeer and mouse. Christmas embarks on the journey to find his father, who is on his own quest to find the mythical village of Elfhelm.

A California Christmas

Next up on our list is A California Christmas, a sentimental romance film about a wealthy bachelor about to lose his worth. He hatches a plan to go undercover as a rancher in order to help a local farmer and her family, attempting to trick them into letting him buy their estate.

Klaus

Klaus is another Christmas tale that will certainly itch your spot for an upbeat holiday animation. The film follows a failing academy student named Jesper who gets sent away to the North to become the newest postman. While in the North, Jesper meets and befriends a toymaker in recluse named Klaus.

A Christmas Prince

A Christmas Prince is another romance movie that gained enough traction to now become a holiday classic. It follows the love story of a journalist named Amber, played by Rose McIver, who gets sent abroad seeking intel into the playboy Prince of Aldovia. It doesn't take long for Amber to realize that the prince isn't all that much of a player after-all.

The Knight Before Christmas 

Wrapping up our favorite Netflix holiday films is another holiday tale starring Vanessa Hudgens. A Knight Before Christmas features a medieval knight who magically gets transported into present-day in the US. The Knight, dubbed Sir Cole, gets hit by a car after not understanding how they work, and the car who hits him happens to be a science teacher (Hudgens) disinterested in love.
