Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Harry and Meghan joined other celebrities as they spoke out in support of the Afghan people that are experiencing horrific conditions right now as well as the Haitian people that are experiencing terrible natural disasters.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have continued their charitable work by focusing their efforts on Afghanistan and Haiti. Haiti is experiencing tropical storms and earthquakes that are devastating the country yet again and many have spoken out in support of the country.

Haiti has dealt with many natural disasters in the past and right now the country could really use the support of celebrities like Harry and Meghan to encourage people to raise funds for the emergency response and rebuilding processes.

They also discussed their support for the people of Afghanistan in multiple statements yesterday:

"The world is exceptionally fragile right now. As we all feel the many layers of pain due to the situation in Afghanistan, we are left speechless. When any person or community suffers, a piece of each of us does so with them, whether we realize it or not.

The couple released another joint statement with the Chair and CEO of the Invictus Games Foundation:

This cause definitely hits home for the couple as Prince Harry was actually deployed to Afghanistan twice during his time in the British Army. Harry also founded the Invictus Games in 2013 with his military service in mind; the games are open for international competition between scarred, injured, and sick service members that wish to compete.

The Afghan people are experiencing horrific conditions right now as the Taliban have taken over the nation's capital after the US and other countries began pulling out military forces. The people could use all the support possible as women face horrific treatment and many are trying to flee before the group takes full control of the nation.

We continue to see the couple work exceptionally hard for charitable causes and it is very inspiring to see them continue to do so without the royal family name behind all of their actions. Please donate to charities that will assist Haiti and Afghanistan as they face unimaginable conditions that have no true end in sight.
