The Ghost and Molly McGee - Disney Channel
Looking for a spooky show that is also silly and fun for the whole family? Look no further than Disney Channel's The Ghost and Molly McGee. We sat down with the voice of Molly McGee herself, Ashly Burch to get the scoop on the upcoming animated series:
"There were a couple of different movies that were halloween themed that gave you kind of like a cozy feeling like Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown. I feel like that's what's awesome about The Ghost and Molly McGee is that it gives you that cozy Halloween feeling. It's not trying to scare the pants off of you."
The Ghost and Molly McGee debuts today (October 1st) and airs Saturday mornings on Disney Channel and is available to stream on Disney Plus starting October 6th.
LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales - Disney Plus
Can't get enough of the Disney Plus treats? Get ready for some familiar faces like you've never seen them before, in LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales. The short film takes place after the events of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. It follows Poe Dameron and BB-8 after they crash-land onto the fiery planet of Mustafar. LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales is 'screaming' or streaming on Disney Plus now.
The Addams Family 2
As if that wasn't enough, The Addams Family is back and better than ever in The Addams Family 2. Based on the classic television series, The Addams Family 2 finds the family back to their same old antics. Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, and Uncle Fester are played by Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Chloë Grace Moritz, and Nick Kroll, respectively. The Addams Family 2 is in theaters now.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage
If you're looking for a sequel that's not quite as tame but just as fun, check out Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Tom Hardy is back as the Eddie Brock. This time around, Venom and Eddie have learned to coexist. However, their troubles aren't over just yet as a new threat makes itself known from right around the corner. Woody Harrelson plays the threat in question: a serial killer named Cletus Kasady who becomes the host of an alien symbiote called Carnage. Unlike Eddie who uses Venom's help for good, Cletus wreaks havoc with the help of Carnage. Venom: Let There Be Carnage is in theaters now.
Halloween Kills
Finally, it doesn't get much more "Halloween" than this. In Halloween Kills, Jamie Lee Curtis is back in her breakout role, Laurie Strode. Halloween Kills is a sequel to the 2018 film Halloween. These two films serve as direct sequels to the original Halloween effectively retconning any other sequels that had been made since 1978. This time around, Curtis is joined by Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards (who appeared in the original movie as a child). Halloween Kills hits theaters and Peacock on October 15th.
Happy October and Happy Halloween!
