The upcoming "Elvis" bio-flick, starring Austin Butler as Elvis, has some of the biggest names in the music industry attached to it. The soundtrack will feature Eminem, Jack White, Tame Impala, Stevie Nicks, and Doja Cat... just to name a few.
Before the full lineup was announced it was already revealed that Kacey Musgraves would be covering "Can't Help Falling in Love," Maneskin would be covering "If I Can Dream," and Doja Cat would be featuring an original song titled "Vegas," which was the first single to be released from the soundtrack. However it is still unclear how many of the songs on the soundtrack are going to be original music or covers of The King's most famous toons.
Some exciting collaborations were also announced, including Eminem and CeeLo Green; Swae Lee and Diplo; and Chris Isaak and Pnau, among others.
It is not yet known how many of these songs will be appearing throughout the movie or if the soundtrack is more of a companion album.
Whatever the case may be, the Presley Family has already given the film their stamp of approval. In a tweet, Elvis’s daughter Lisa Marie Presley expressed her admiration for the film and everyone that had worked on it.
"Baz, your utter genius combined with your love and respect for my father and this project is so beautiful and so inspiring. I know I'm being repetitIve, but I don't care, Thank you for setting the record straight in a deeply profound and artistic way. Love you - LMP"
