The wait is over! After an Instagram post in which the A-list vocalist shared his shock in the news that his first solo single is coming out in a few weeks, Ed Sheeran teased a brief preview of his new song today.
The Grammy Award-winning singer's last album was his 2019 No. 6 Collaborations Project in which he featured creative duets with artists such as Eminem, Justin Bieber, Chance The Rapper, Khalid, Cardi B, Camila Cabello, Travis Scott, 50 Cent, and more.
The title of his new solo single, "Bad Habits," hints to what fans can come to expect from Sheeran's new music, which he has been working on for months. This single is Sheeran's first solo song to be released since his song "Happier" on the 2017 album Divide.
For the past few years, Sheeran has been keeping a low profile on social media. The star got married to Cherry Seaborn in a romantic private wedding in 2019, and just celebrated the arrival of his baby daughter, Lyra Antarctica, last September.
Sheeran posted his excitement about his new music on Instagram, revealing a snippet of his song and showcasing elements of the music video:
Sheeran shows off his glamorous vampire persona, wearing a bright-pink suit, sharp fangs, and bruised eyes. The preview includes his melodic vocals matching the strumming of the guitar.

Sheeran's solo single "Bad Habits," is set to be released on June 25 via Atlantic Records.
