All-Star Netflix Movie 'Don't Look Up' Premieres In NYC

Leonardo DiCaprio & Jennifer Lawrence

Netflix's all-star cast of Don't Look Up looked absolutely dashing at the movie premiere that took place on Sunday, December 5th in New York City.

Don't Look Up is a Netflix movie directed by Adam McKay about two low-level astronomers who will do what it takes to warn mankind of an approaching comet about to destroy planet Earth.

Despite the premise of the film, the intricate message is one of hope that invites viewers to trust science, especially during these challenging times both for the pandemic and the climate change crisis.

The two protagonists of the story will be played by Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence - the latter has always wanted to work with Di Caprio and her longtime ambition has now finally become reality.

Di Caprio looked extremely elegant with a dark blue suit and tie and Lawrence, who is currently expecting her first child, definitely glowed in her Dior gown paired with Tiffany & Co. jewelry.

During an interview with Vanity Fair, Lawrence shared that she talked to a real astronomer in order to prepare for the role.

"We decided that Kate is the type to be fierce, notice me, hear me roar kind of lady," Lawrence said.

Other members of the cast include Meryl Streep, who plays the President of the United States, Jonah Hill, Timothée Chalamet and Ariana Grande.

Don't Look Up comes out December 10th on Netflix - you can watch, or rewatch, the trailer down below.
