Vulture revealed that Comedy Central announced its participation in green-lighting a reboot of the classic 90s hit, "The Ren & Stimpy Show." This comes to light after former creator John Kricfalusi was accused of involvement with minors.
Nevertheless, the show must go on! Chief Creator Officer of ViacomCBS' Entertainment & Youth Group Nina L. Diaz revealed her excitement, saying:
"I want to thank our partners at Nick Animation as we re-imagine these iconic characters with a new creative team."
President of ViacomCBS Entertainment & Youth Group Chris McCarthy echoes Diaz's statement, saying:
"Ren & Stimpy joins our rapidly expanding roster of adult animation including South Park, Beavis and Butt-Head and Clone High."
