Bobby Moynihan was everyone's favorite drunk uncle on SNL. Now, he's got a brand new animated comedy and he's giving us an inside look.
Reuniting With 'SNL' Stars
Bobby Moynihan kept the laughs coming on Saturday Night Live for nearly a decade. Now, he's reuniting with some of his old SNL pals on his new animated comedy Loafy:
"A lot of my buddies from SNL were kind enough to come and lend their voices. Cecily Strong, Jay Pharaoh, Taran Killum, a bunch of people."
Moynihan is also bringing in some new friends including Tom Green:
"I've met Tom Green at a party. I've always loved him and asked him do you want to come play a homeless man in it."
Luckily enough, Green joined in on the project.
Who's Loafy?
Moynihan's new show is about a weed dealing manatee who runs a drug empire from his water tank at the zoo. Moynihan shared what's to love about his new character:
"He is a single dad and the number one weed dealer in New York City. I guarantee you won't have to think for five minutes."
The project also allows Moynihan to live out one of his creative dreams:
"I've been able to do some animation in my career so I wanted to learn how to do more. I wanted to try and make my own so this Loafy idea was as silly enough to me as a first try."
