We're checking in with Soap Opera Digest's Stephanie Sloane to hear all about the latest news in daytime TV!
Dance Moms star Nia Sioux and soap star Olivia Keegan are both making big exits from popular soap operas.
Nia says that her time on The Bold and the Beautiful on CBS has helped her grow as an actress. She was also excited to film her first death scene and she is thrilled with the final result. Nia hasn't been out of work for long, since she just filmed a movie and has been working on new music!
As for Olivia, she says it was difficult to say goodbye to Days of Our Lives because the cast and crew have become like family to her. She called her experience a "four year dream" in a heartfelt Instagram post. Still, she says her exit storyline was a highlight of her time on set.
Stephanie also talked to soap star Victoria Rowell about coming back to The Young and the Restlessfor the show's tribute to the late Kristoff St. John. Victoria says it was surreal to be back on set after leaving the show in 2007. When asked whether she would return to the show, Victoria says she would never say never!
Finally, Stephanie spilled about what some of our favorite soap stars think about working with their leading man or leading lady!
B&B's Don Diamont says he loves that Heather Tom is a total professional but they still laugh throughout the day, which he thinks is a perfect quality for a co-star. Plus, Y&R's Jason Thompson says Amelia Heinle is a great leading lady because she brings joy to the set everyday and everyone is always happy to see her. Days of Our Lives' Sal Stowers says leading man Lamon Archey is fun, goofy, and "just awesome." Plus, he has a "killer smile"!
