On Sunday night, Billie Eilish performed in an upside-down room at the Grammy Awards. Fans were left wondering if this could be a sign that she'd soon be collabing with Harry Styles, who's album cover shows him standing in an upside-down living room.
Looking for clues of a collaboration, Styles' fans flooded Twitter during Billie's performance, wondering whether the 'As It Was' singer was about to emerge from the door at the side of the set.
One fan took Billie's staging as a collab confirmation:
"There's no way Billie's upside-down room and house had nothing to do with Harry's House #GRAMMYs. I'm ready to hear all the conspiracy's #HarrysHouse."
The 'Happier Than Ever' singer has sung in a similar set-up in a few live shows prior, but that didn't stop Harry Styles fans from jumping to conclusions.
However, some fans quickly pointed out Billie sang upside down in 2019 on SNL, shutting down collab rumors. One wrote,
"I love Harry, but he did not invent upside down furniture."
In a recent interview, the former One Direction star confirmed that 'there are no collaborations' on his upcoming album.
Styles recently announced his third album, 'Harry's House,' revealing it would be released on May 20.
A few days later, he released the first song from the album, 'As It Was,' a classic bop about jumping from loneliness to nostalgia which also features his adorable goddaughter.
