Many celebrities have come forward to support Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after their controversial interview with Oprah dropped on Sunday. It will go down in history as arguably the largest jab at the British monarchy yet.
Among them is Queen Bey, who recently took to her website to post a statement in support and admiration for Markle.
"Thank you Meghan for your courage and leadership. We are all strengthened and inspired by you."
Markle has undergone some serious turmoil since becoming part of the royal family, which became exceedingly evident after what she shared with Oprah on Sunday. She revealed her struggles with the false narrative made about her by the media, her struggles with mental health, the removal of security from herself, her husband, and her son, Archie, as well as racist remarks made about the child, among other shocking topics.
Throughout the interview, Meghan remained poised and composed, courageous and strong, prompting Beyoncé to praise her for her leadership. The message from the Lemonade singer was accompanied by a photo of the two meeting at the premiere for The Lion King back in 2019.
Beyoncé was apparently recorded greeting Markle with the phrase "My princess," according to Entertainment Tonight. Yoncé was also overheard saying "the baby, so beautiful," in reference to their son Archie. She was also reported to say, "love you guys," to the couple on behalf of her and her husband Jay-Z, who was by her side.

The love and support doesn't stop there - Bey and Jay also paid homage to Markle at the 2019 Brit Awards when their acceptance video featured an artistically rendered portrait of Markle that hung on a wall behind them.

We are happy to see that Markle one queen on her side, at the very least.
