The best of the best in Black entertainment were honored on Sunday at the 2022 BET Awards!

The Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles was buzzing with big names in Black entertainment as many were honored for their work in movies, TV shows, music and sports. Taraji P. Henson returned to host the event for the second time in a row.

Doja Cat dominated the night with the most nominations going into the ceremony. She had a total of six nominations including "Best Female Pop/R&B Artist." R&B singer Ari Lennox tied with Drake as the second most nominated acts with four. P. Diddy was honored with the prestigious "Lifetime Achievement Award" for all his contributions to Black entertainment. Mariah Carey and Latto gave an entertaining performance of "Big Energy."
