Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia Set to Co-Star Season 19 of 'The Bachelorette'

Meet Your New Bachelorettes: Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia - The Bachelor

The latest season of 'The Bachelor,' featuring Clayton Echard, came to a dramatic and messy end as part two of the season finale aired last night on ABC.

After front-runner Susie Evans walked away from her relationship with the football player upon discovering he had been intimate with both of the other contestants, Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia, Clayton convinced the two remaining ladies to stay in Iceland and meet his parents, despite Gabby's hesitation.

However, Clayton ultimately decided that his heart was still with Susie.

Host Jesse Palmer approached Susie and asked if she would be willing to speak to Clayton before she left. After agreeing and awkwardly meeting Clayton's parents, Susie speaks to Clayton in private where she expresses her hurt and betrayal about what unfolded on the fantasy suite dates.

“If you have love for me as a person, how can you treat me like this?” she asked. “I’m so humiliated. You made me feel wrong and bad. That to me that was the heartbreak.”

Susie departed the show after her fantasy suite date last week when Clayton admitted that he had fallen in love with and slept with the other contestants, something she previously revealed would be a deal breaker for the relationship.

“Those are things I think would be impossible to move forward toward an engagement," said Evans in the episode. “If I’m sharing your love with somebody else, I don’t think I would be comfortable.”

Despite the fact that Clayton's conversation with Evans in the finale seemed to leave little hope for a future between the two, Clayton still decided to end things with both Windey and Recchia, because his heart was completely with Evans.

Both Windey and Recchia, had more than a few words for Clayton in response.

In an emotional exchange Gabby exclaimed,

“You asked me to stay because you were pissed [that Susie left] and your pride was hurt,” said Windey. “One time it was going to be my decision [to leave], which you didn’t want it to be. And now it’s your decision so it’s easier.”

Gabby and Rachel both continued to unpack their painful exits from the show during the live reunion. While Clayton apologized to Rachel she rebuffed his words stating,

“I just don’t believe you.”

As for Susie and Clayton, Evans walked out on stage and pointed at Clayton saying,

“That’s my boyfriend."

The pair revealed they needed the time apart before they could come back together and that Clayton had plans to move down to Virginia to live with his now girlfriend, who accepted his final rose during the reunion.

And for the other two ladies, it's not all bad news! In a poetic justice of sorts, ABC announced that both Rachel Recchia and Gaby Windey will co-star in the upcoming season 19 of "The Bachelorette."

The pair seemed blindsided by the news when host Jesse Palmer made the announcement, but definitely not more blindsided than they were by Clayton in the season finale.

The two ladies, who continuously supported one another throughout the season up until the very end, are finally getting what they deserve.

While the historical twist raises lots of questions for fans about how the upcoming season will work, such as what if each lady falls for the same guy? It is sure to bring double the fun, double the drama, and double the entertainment.

Unfortunately we're all going to have to wait a few months for our questions to be answered as ABC will not premiere the new season until July 11.
