Imagine Ariana Grande turning for you... well, now we'll get to see that dream live out for the contestants of The Voice (2011-) season 21, as Grande is joining the competition show as a coach.
Ariana Grande's Announcement
Grammy winning artist Ariana Grande took to her social medias to announce her role on The Voice next season as a coach. Her caption read,
"surprise !!! i am beyond thrilled, honored, excited to be joining @kellyclarkson @johnlegend @blakeshelton next season ~ season 21 of @nbcthevoice ! 🤍 @nickjonas we will miss you"
Replacing Nick Jonas
The "thank u, next" (2019) singer will be taking the place of coach Nick Jonas during season 21. Grande will be coaching alongside Voice alumni Blake Shelton, John Legend, and Kelly Clarkson.
Fans will surely miss the current quartet of coaches' dynamic, but top of the charts female pop icon Ariana Grande is a fair trade.
Grande's Rise to Fame
At just 27, Grande has accomplished the unthinkable. On top of her two Grammys, Grande has won awards at the Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards, and so on.
Making her big break on Broadway, Grande starred in 13 (2008-2009), the first Broadway show to entirely consist of a teenage cast and band. Grande went on to act alongside her 13 co-star and bestie Liz Gillies in the Nickelodeon hit Victorious (2010-2013). During her short series Sam & Cat (2013-2014), Grande decided to take her music career seriously debuting "The Way" (2013) with the late Mac Miller.
Grande has gone on to create six studio albums and collaborate with fellow diva icons Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga, and more.
While waiting for Grande's season to begin, make sure to catch up on the current season of The Voice with new episodes every Monday on NBC.
