Could Apple Music TV be the modern MTV?

Non-stop music videos live-streamed - sounds familiar, right? Similar to MTV, Apple has just released Apple Music TV.

Music Videos All Day, Every Day

Apple Music TV was just launched on Monday, October 19th. From now on, Apple Music TV will constantly be streaming music videos old and new, music video premieres, some live artist performances, and chart countdowns. In the past, Apple Music has released exclusive interviews and concert films, but now that type of content will go to Apple Music TV. The music video platform can be found under the browse tab on Apple Music and Apple TV. Apple Music TV is great for unwinding after a long day at work or to put on in the background while friends are over.

Coming Up On Apple Music TV

For its first day of streaming, Apple Music TV started with a countdown of the top 100 songs streamed in the United States on Apple Music. Aside from the non-stop music videos, we can expect a celebration of Bruce Springsteen's upcoming album Letter To You with his most popular music videos playing throughout the day along with a special livestream featuring an interview done by Zane Lowe, host of Apple Music's radio station. This will take place Thursday, October 22nd.

Every Friday at 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT, Apple Music TV will premiere new music videos, this week premiering Joji's 777 video and Saint Jhn's Gorgeous.

Will Apple Music TV become the new MTV? Only time will tell.
