The Academy of Country Music announced today that their annual awards ceremony will be making a triumphant return to Nashville on Sunday, April 18th on CBS, from three iconic venues of the historic city.
A Return to the City of Country
Following suit with the Oscars, the ACM Awards will be simulcast live from three separate venues, The Grand Ole Opry House, Ryman Auditorium, and The Bluebird Cafe, all historic cites within Nashville.
While nominees for the awards have yet to be announced, the Academy promises, "exciting performances, unprecedented collaborations, surprising moments and more to be announced in the coming months" via a press release from the ACM.
COVID Conscious
The ACM also promised that, "The health and safety of the artists, fans, industry, staff and partners involved in the ACM Awards is the number one priority. All guidelines set forth by national, state and local health officials will be closely followed and implemented" implying COVID safety measures will be firmly in place, setting a good example for America to wear their masks and take care of themselves!
