Kathie Lee and her colleagues are taking a look back at her incredible run.
Get your tissues better ready, because April 5th is Kathie Lee Gifford's last day on Kathie Lee & Hoda. For the last 11 years, Kathie Lee and co-host Hoda Kotb have anchored the 4th hour of NBC's Today. Throughout that time, the on-camera chemistry between them seems irreplaceable and one of a kind.
Our senior correspondent Arthur Kade is with Kathie Lee and her NBC colleagues at her farewell bash to discuss the legacy she has created and will continue to build. When the show first started, Hoda was worried she would mess up, but she then spoke to Kathie's husband, Frank, who gave her the best advice: "...trust the person sitting next to you."
"She is the most trustworthy person I’ve ever known," explains Hoda.

Carson Daly is also at the event and says there is no need to worry about Kathie Lee leaving because she is going on to do "one million other things that she will be great at." Having worked with her firsthand, Savannah Guthrie knows exactly why Kathie Lee is an icon.
“Long before there was reality TV, long before it was cool or expected to just be your regular self on television, Kathie Lee was doing that," Savannah says. "She really pioneered that."

Many people are sad to see Kathie Lee go, including the Today's Al Roker. Al has known Kathie Lee since the '60s, and he believes that Kathie Lee is a pioneer in every sense of the word.
"She decided this was the time to move, and I think that's been her other superpower," Al says.
Although we'll miss Kathie Lee on the Today show, we wish her the best of luck in all her future endeavors!
