Over a week after sustaining injuries from an undisclosed incident, the beloved Miss Alabama Zoe Sozo Bethel has died at the age of 27.
On Thursday, Bethel's family took to social media, sharing that the beauty queen had suffered "severe damage" due to an accident that happened a week prior.
"Zoe had an accident Thursday night, February 10th, & sustained severe damage to her brain/brainstem & is in a coma. Unfortunately the doctors are saying the damage cannot be repaired & that she may not have much time left. We are praying for God's will to be done, regardless of what that may look like."
