WWE ThunderDome revealed!
WWE has converted Orlando's Amway Center into the WWE Thunderdome. The new venue contains a state-of-the-art set, video boards, pyrotechnics, lasers, cutting-edge graphics and drone cameras. This is a big improvement from WWE's performance center, which has been the home to Raw, Smackdown, and all PPVS since March. In a statement, WWE described the new venue:
"WWE ThunderDome, featuring a state-of-the-art set, video boards, pyrotechnics, lasers, cutting-edge graphics and drone cameras, takes WWE fans' viewing experience to an unprecedented level starting Friday on #SmackDown, kicking off #SummerSlam Weekend!"
Virtual Crowd
WWE will bring fans back into the action via LED Boards. Fans from all over the globe will have the opportunity to be apart of the virtual crowd for free! While talking about the virtual crowd, WWE stated:
"As WWE takes residency at the world-class Amway Center, we have reimagined our live event experience for today's environment, In partnership with The Famous Group, we will virtually bring our fans back into the show and recreate the interactive in-arena atmosphere that has been a staple of WWE events for decades."
WWE Thunderdome debuts tonight on Fox's Smackdown, 8 PM EST.
