ABC has announced world premiere performances from some of the hottest chart toppers at the 2020 American Music Awards.
These performances will be by Bad Bunny, Lil Baby, Megan Thee Stallion, and Shawn Mendes. They join previously announced artists Dua Lipa and BTS.
The AMAs are the largest fan-voted awards show This year's AMAs will be hosted by Taraji P. Henson. The show will feature collaborations, exclusive performances, chart-topping favorites, and surprise appearances. Additionally, this year, with the popularity of Latin, R&B, and Hip-Hop, the AMAs have expanded their categories to match.
Bad Bunny
Bad Bunny is a Puerto Rican singer, rapper, and songwriter. He gained popularity on Soundcloud, and was eventually signed to a record label. He has collaborated with Cardi B and Drake, and also performed as a guest during the Super Bowl LIV Halftime Show. Earlier this year he was nominated for 2 Grammys and won 2 BBMAs.
Lil Baby
Lil Baby is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter, who rose to fame after his mixtape "Perfect Timing"
Megan Thee Stallion
Megan Thee Stallion is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter, who first gained popularity on social media. Most recently, she collaborated with Cardi B on the song WAP. This year she was named as one of Time Magazine's 100 most influential people.
Shawn Mendes
Shawn Mendes is a Canadian singer and songwriter. His debut album included a song called "Stitches" which rose to the top of charts across the world. He has since released more albums and won many awards including two previous AMAs. He has also received three Grammy nominations and was one of Time's 100 most influential people in 2018.
BTS and Dua Lipa's performances were announced earlier this year.

The show is produced by Dick Clark Productions, which is the world's largest producer and proprietor of televised live event entertainment. Its programming also includes the Academy of Country Music Awards, BBMAs, Golden Globes, Streamy Awards, and Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve.
