Emily Ratajkowski doesn’t believe in straight people.

In a new cover story interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the model, actress, and activist opened up about her sexuality and her recent coming out as bisexual through TikTok.

In a viral post on the popular social video app, Ratajkowski joined in on the “green velvet couch” trend, which started with a video of a woman saying “if you identify as bisexual, do you own a green velvet couch?”

After bisexual actress Shay Mitchell posted a video of her own green couch, Ratajkowski added in a video of herself sitting on her own green velvet couch, seemingly confirming her sexuality.

When Harper’s asked her about the video, she revealed it was a friend’s idea. “My girl friend came over and was like, ‘b*tch, have you seen the green couch thing?’ She was laughing at me because my green couch is so big.”

She also revealed her thoughts on sexuality.

“I think sexuality is on a sliding scale,” she said. “I don’t really believe in straight people.”

“I want to be able to have fun with how I present myself in the world without feeling like I’m a bad feminist or a good feminist,” Ratajkowski added. “Duh. I don’t want to be a part of your club if you don’t want to have me. It’s fine!”

Ratajkowski has always been outspoken about her body and sexuality, especially when she published My Body last year. My Body is a best-selling collection of essays, in which she explores her body and the way it has been used to further her career and define her life.

In the book, she alleges that singer Robin Thicke groped her on the set for his music video “Blurred Lines,” which starred Ratajkowski, and that photographer Jonathan Leder also assaulted her on the set of an intimate photo shoot.

On November 1, Ratajkowski launched a new podcast called High Low with EmRata. “I’m down to talk about sex, be a millennial or whatever, while also having—hopefully—the eloquence and interview style of Terry Gross,” she said.
