Guy Pearce returns as the titular protagonist in the third season of the Australian crime drama on Acorn TV. Over the past two seasons, Jack has been spiraling out of control after discovering that the murder of his wife may have been linked to a broader conspiracy. In addition to this, he now has to look after his 5-year-old son, fathered during a one-night stand. Tonight, in the premiere of the show's final season, Jack will be torn between his all-consuming obsession and the newfound responsibilities of parenthood.
The Beast Must Die
At 10 PM tonight, British crime drama The Beast Must Die premieres on AMC. This dark thriller stars Cush Jumbo as a native of the Isle of Wight who seeks to avenge the death of her son in a hit-and-run, and Billy Howle as an inspector who discovers a broader conspiracy among the island's elite while investigating the cover-up of the killing. The miniseries is only six episodes long, but takes a deep, pensive look at the nature of justice and the trauma of losing a loved one.
Color Crew Magic
For those looking for a show aimed at younger viewers, Color Crew Magic premieres today at 9:30 AM on BabyFirst TV. The show is a sequel to Color Crew, which followed a handful of sentient crayons as they explored the nature of color.
Catch and Kill
This new miniseries from HBO brings Ronan Farrow's book Catch and Kill: Lies, Spies, and a Conspiracy to Protect Predators to the medium of television. The show will delve into the predatory behavior of Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, with testimony from Rose McGowan and Ambra Gutierrez about the treatment they suffered at his hands. Reasonable Doubt
The fourth season of Investigation Discovery's gritty reality TV series premieres tonight at 10 PM. Eden
This dark Australian drama explores the disappearance of a girl in the idyllic town of Byron's Bay. Each episode takes place from a different character's perspective, gradually unraveling the insidious conspiracy that lurks beneath the surface of their community. The show becomes available exclusively to Spectrum video subscribers today.
American Greed
At 10 PM on CNBC, the season finale ofAmerican Greed will air. This episode follows infamous murderer Karl Karlsen, who killed his family members in order to collect their life insurance money.
