The Cast Of NBC's 'One Chicago' Promises More "Extraordinary" Plot Twists | Celebrity Page

NBC has all the drama on their hit Chicago series.

Busting criminals? Saving lives? Romance? NBC's One Chicago is doing all three consistently and fans can't seem to get enough of it. Ratings are through the roof with viewership steadily increasing each week.

The cast of Chicago Med opened up on the show's success with relatable and entertaining storylines.

"They do an amazing job of putting stories out there where they have a beginning, middle and end," Oliver Platt said.

"I think that's what special about our show. It's just the reality of what's going on right now all around the world. The medicine, the quality of medicine, the relationships. I think the show ends up being an encyclopedia for people to figure out what's going on with them," Marlyne Barrett said.

Chicago P.D.'s Jason Beghe was stunned when he found his show and the others got a three-year extension.

"I mean we got picked up for three years. We're doing something that's extraordinary and it's incredibly gratifying and humbling," Beghe said.

With all the dramatic moments and accomplishments they've reached, the best has yet to come, as the cast of Chicago Fire teased more in store.

"We still have a handful of episodes after things ending on a high so they can't stay high for forever," Hanako Greensmith said.

"It's the nature of drama, right? If everything was copacetic, it'd be not so fascinating to watch," Marina Squerciati said.

Catch Chicago P.D., Chicago Med, and Chicago Fire Wednesday nights on NBC.
