You're gonna have to wait a little longer until the queen of daytime talk shows makes the return to her purple chair.

This past Wednesday, The Wendy Williams Show took to its social media accounts to announce that a new lineup of hosts have been scheduled to fill in for Wendy as she continues her hiatus from the show. Producers of the show and Williams herself have been transparent about her battle against Graves' disease and the health complications from it, which have prevented her from returning stage front this season.

Potentially, and hopefully, Williams will return to her role as host at the end of January 2022. Until then, Fat Joe and Remy Ma are set to host the show during the first week of January, Michael Rapaport will host the second week, Kym Whitley and Finesse Mitchell during the third week, and Sherri Shepherd will return to close out the last week of the month.

Williams has not appeared in front of the camera at all since the beginning of the show's 13th season. Since episodes of the new season began premiering back in October this year, a lineup of celebrity guests have continued to carry her talk show torch.

Season 13 of the show was originally set to air in September, but had to be delayed after Williams contracted Covid. Even though the show's premiere date was pushed back until October 18th, the first episode of the season debuted with Leah Remini as host for the first week.

Since then, Williams' return to her throne has been delayed week after week with various celebrity guests such as Whitney Cummings, Sherri Shepherd, Bill Bellamy, Steve WIlkos, and Jerry Springer all taking turns in the purple chair.

Only time will tell if Williams will be well enough to return to hosting her show by the end of January.
