Based on Ian Reid's book, i'm thinking of ending things brings Kaufman's vision to life in a very creepy way.

i'm thinking of ending things revolves around Jessie Buckley's character going on a road trip with her boyfriend (Jesse Plemons) to meet his parents. However, things begin to go south when they become stuck inside with his parents (Toni Collette and David Thewlis) due to a snowstorm and Buckley begins to question everything she once knew. The trailer shows viewers Buckley feeling very strange thoughts and almost having out of body experiences. The movie will take viewers on an exploration of Buckley's mind and is bound to bring about hard hitting emotions.

Charlie Kaufman spoke to Entertainment Weekly about what he believes truly makes this film what it is. He shared:

"Loneliness and hopelessness and regret — these are things that are part of the fabric of this film."
