A new trailer has arrived for the upcoming comedy The War With Grandpa, starring Robert De Niro and Oakes Fegley. Check it out!
The film is based on the 1984 novel written by Robert Kimmel Smith, The War With Grandpa. It focuses on a sixth-grader Peter (Oakes Fegley) being forced to move out of his room when his recently widowed grandfather Ed (Robert De Niro) moves in. With the help of his friends, Peter devises outrageous pranks to make his grandfather surrender the room, but Grandpa Ed won't go without a fight.
The comedy features an all-star supporting cast of Christopher Walken, Uma Thurman, Rob Riggle, Cheech Marin and Jane Seymour. The film is directed by Tim Hill (Alvin and the Chipmunks), and written by Tom J. Astle and Matt Ember (Home).
The War With Grandpa is scheduled to be released in theaters October 9! However, amid the coronavirus pandemic, that it certainly subject to change.
