Victoria isn't the only one with a secret!
This past Tuesday, supermodel and VS AngelShanina Shaik dropped a real bombshell: the 2019 Victoria'a Secret Fashion Show won't is cancelled.
In her interview with The Daily Telegraph, Shaik told reporters:
"It's something I'm not used to because every year around this time I'm training like an angel"
With ratings declining over the past few years, the VSFW seemed to be losing its appeal. Many equate this to lack of diversity among models. Victoria's Secret also found itself in hot water back in November when Chief Marketing Officer Ed Razek made a couple controversial statements. In an interview with Vogue, Razek stated there's no place for plus-size and transgender models in the VS Fashion Show.
"Why not? Because the show is a fantasy."
The company quickly issued an apology, but was too late. These comments sparked instant backlash from the LGTBQ community with many swaying others to boycott Victoria's Secret.

"We have decided to re-think the traditional Victoria's Secret Fashion Show...In 2019 and beyond, we're focusing on developing exciting and dynamic content and a new kind of event."
So what's next for the VS Fashion Show? Model Shanina Shaik was positive that the show will return, but how will it compare to the 23 shows before it? With the inclusion of plus-sized and transgender models, the company could hopefully rebrand themselves as a much more tolerant company, all while increasing business in new ways.
