The Los Angeles Lakers had a monumental win last night, after the team defeated the Miami Heat 106 to 90 in game six of the NBA Finals.
The win comes just nine months after Kobe Bryant's tragic death that occurred in January of this year. Bryant's widow Vanessa Bryant spoke out on Instagram after the win to show how excited she was for the Lakers and that she wishes "Kobe and Gigi were here to see this."

Vanessa's Instagram story wrote, "Go Lakers! Congrats Uncle P! Congratulations @lakers Kobe was right, RP! 'Stay the course - blockout the noise.' @kobebryant"
This is the first time the Lakers have won a championship since 2010 when Kobe Bryant and Pao Gasol led the team to victory. Their new championship win is dedicated to Bryant, and his memory was honored throughout the entire winning process this season.
